California Strong

Devastation hit California as fires stormed across the state of California earlier this month leaving thousands homeless and taking the lives of loved ones. We strongly believe in giving back to the community so this holiday season we are donating 10% of all proceeds from November 22nd through December 31st to those directly affected by the wildfires of California. ♡ #CaliforniaStrong

If you have followed the news in the last couple of day you have seen the stories about the wildfires in California.  The fire that hit Paradise, Camp Fire, left many people without homes, including the Sobrero’s. Alex Sobrero is an alumni of NDSU Softball Team, which I also played on and missed eachother by 1 year - but I still had the opportunity to get to know her and her family on her recruiting trip. The Sobrero family lost their house and the only things they were able to save was their dog, a little bit of clothing and a few pictures. Alex’s family is safe and with other family members who also lost their homes. This is obviously a difficult time for their family and everyone who was affected by the fires in the community as they didn’t just lose their house, they lost their entire town.  A GoFundMe account has been started by one of Alex’s sister’s teammates to help the Sobrero’s during this time with all proceeds going directly to their family to put towards getting them a home again.
